Contestant Registration Agreement
1. Compliance with Contest Procedures
The contestant hereby commits to strictly abide by all contest procedures during algorithm development and result generation. Contestants shall follow the timeline, rules, and guidelines set forth by the Organizer, and any deviation from such procedures may result in disqualification from the contest.
2. Prohibition of Cheating and Unethical Behavior
Contestant agrees not to engage in any form of cheating or unethical behavior, including but not limited to plagiarism, data fabrication, unauthorized collaboration, or using any external assistance not permitted by the Organizer. Any violation of this provision will lead to immediate disqualification and possible legal action.
3. Grant of Rights to Organizer
Contestant grants to the Organizer a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display the algorithm results and code developed during the contest. This grant is for the Organizer's internal use, promotion of the contest, and other legitimate purposes as deemed appropriate by the Organizer.
4. Disclaimer of Liability
Organizer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with Contestant's participation in the contest, including but not limited to damages resulting from the use of the algorithm results and code.
